Denso Petrolatum Tapes and products provide on site anti-corrosion protection of gas, water, oil and other pipes and pipeline valves and fittings including structural steel.

• The Denso tape is cold applied and remains plastic over a wide range of temperatures.
• It is non hardening and non cracking
• Highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalis, salts and micro-organisms
• Highly impermeable to water, water vapour and gases.
• For the protection of buried or exposed pipes rods cables valves and metal fittings from corrosion.

Denso Tape Applications:

• Provides insitu corrosion prevention of gas, water, oil & other pipes as well as pipeline valves & fittings.
• Protection of tie bars, post-tensioned rods, cables and tanks.
• Sealing framework.

Denso Tape Composition:

• Made from non-woven synthetic fibre fabric, which is impregnated and coated with a neutral compound based on saturated petroleum hydrocarbons and inert siliceous fillers.

• Breaking strength: 200 N/50mm minimum.
• Elongation at break: 10%.
• Breakdown voltage: 16kV
• Temperature range for application: -5°C to 45°C.
• Temperature range for service: 55°C maximum.
• Thickness: 1.15mm.
