The CDS3 is a practical and easy to use drill stand with a vice, which allows electric drills to be securely held for vertical drilling.

It is suitable for use with hand held electric drills with collar diameters of 43mm or 38mm with supplied reducing bush.

Poor Quality

I’m sorry to say that even though this is a cheap drill stand, the stand did not work. In the first instance the locking screw threads stripped within two uses so I had to get replacements for them. The drill stand itself is loose so trying to drill an exact whole position was almost impossible. After some uses the upright that holds the drill head started to rub and therefore cause distortion so had to employ Vaseline to cure that problem. In all I would not recommend this product.
